Veranstaltungen der Studienbrücke
STEM Academy
- for program participants

Two academies are being offered this year:
- 13 July 2026 – 19 July 2026
- 20 July 2026 – 26 July 2026
The STEM Academy is a one-week programme offered as part of the Studienbrücke programme and is aimed at prospective students with a focus on mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and technology. Participants learn about everyday student life at German universities, attend subject-specific courses, explore laboratories and workshops, and make their first contacts. The academic programme is supplemented by relevant excursions.
During the academy, participants gain a comprehensive insight into STEM studies at German universities. In subject-specific courses, they learn about typical content, working methods and requirements.
A special highlight are the campus and laboratory tours, during which participants can visit modern research facilities and experience study and research environments first-hand. This gives participants a better understanding of everyday student life and the opportunities available at German universities.
In addition to the academic programme, the STEM Academy offers a varied, thematically tailored supporting programme. Joint activities promote exchange among participants, make it easier to settle into the new environment and turn the week into an all-round enriching experience.
The STEM Academy supports prospective students in making an informed decision about their studies, establishing contacts and preparing specifically for their future studies.
Registration takes place via the relevant Goethe-Institut.
