The Center for East European and International Studies (ZOiS) is an independent, international, publicly funded research institute. It concentrates on socially relevant social science research on Eastern Europe. Through academic communication, ZOiS participates in public discourse, helps shape existing debates and contributes new perspectives on and from Eastern Europe.
German Association for East European Studies (DGO)
The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Osteuropakunde e.V. (DGO) is one of Germany's leading scientific societies for researching and communicating knowledge about Eastern, Central Eastern and South Eastern Europe. It promotes interdisciplinary exchange between science, politics and society and offers a wide range of information and networking opportunities on current developments in the region.
